Projectors for home theater and business applications

Supernova is compatible with all single lens projectors that provide the recommended brightness for the screen. The required brightness level of the projector depends on two issues: screen image area and the level of ambient light in the room
 
The table below shows the recommended projector brightness for different screen sizes/formats in a brightly-lit room with 200 lux ambient light on the screen and 400 lux ambient light in the room. The viewing position is perpendicular to the centre of the screen. In this scenario the contrast ratio of the final image is 20:1 (good quality). Empirical studies show that in order for a viewer to be able to see detailed information in a clear way, the minimum acceptable contrast in the image should be 15:1. Supernova is the world’s first front projection screen to break the 15:1 contrast barrier.
