India: With the help of an optical rear projection screen, Reliance Life Sciences has moved its conferences and symposiums into a beautiful indoor garden bathed in natural light.
As one of India’s largest companies in the field of plant, medical and industrial biotechnology, Reliance Life Sciences hosts many workshops, symposiums and knowledge sharing sessions. With the philosophy of “doing things differently” the company was looking for a way to improve the conference experience for everybody involved.
The first step was to move the conference room into a lush, indoor garden with sunlight streaming through the windows. The natural light and the green surroundings reduced fatigue and made it possible to read and write notes without the need for artificial light. But it also posed some major challenges for the audio-visual equipment.
The presentation screen needed to be very bright and with a high degree of contrast to show a clearly visible picture in the brightly lit conditions. And due to the layout of the room it had to have a 180° viewing cone. Since the typical slides shown would be of micro organisms or complex molecular structures, it was also important that every detail could be clearly shown.
Reliance Life Sciences turned to ACTIS Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for a solution to these challenges. They installed a 150" dnp Giant Wide Angle Screen. The advanced optical technology of the screen offers very good brightness and contrast levels, making it ideally suited for the projection of large, high quality images in brightly lit surroundings and rooms with large viewing angles and distances. Reliance Life Sciences has been impressed with the results.
