Norway: AV systemdesign’s installation of two Supernova One Screens in the “collaboration room” at PXO in Tananger, Norway, is the winner of the November 2008 “installation of the month.”
The concept of “Integrated Operations” uses information technology to remove the physical boundaries between people to create new, more effective ways of working. And now the Supernova One is playing a supporting role in the process at PXO, an Integrated Operations consultancy.
PXO’s collaboration room enables PXO to demonstrate its capabilities to potential customers, many of whom are in the oil business. The facility can also be leased by customers on an as-needed basis.
“The environment in the collaboration room is quite bright because of a glass wall facing the Atlantic Ocean,” says Terje Gudmestad, Managing Director, AV systemdesign. “That presented a challenge for every other screen but Supernova.”
After having considered a variety of screen alternatives, he recommended the Supernova One with Supernova 08-85 screen material. This ISF-certified material features true, deep black levels, high contrast and extreme viewing angles. ISF (Image Science Foundation) certification defines the best video displays available.
“PXO was so pleased with the result that they would like us to be a partner with them on their future installations for customers,” Gudmestad says. “Supernova clearly made a bright impression.”
