Front projection didn’t seem like an option at Arrow International’s new medical equipment plant in the Czech Republic. Although Arrow liked front projection’s space-saving benefits and ease of installation, the plant’s meeting room was extremely bright – too bright for front projection, they feared. But Arrow’s AV consultant found a solution that worked beautifully: Supernova One.
Award-winning Supernova Screens make bright light a non-issue. “The screens provide clear and colour-intensive images, despite the light coming in from the French doors right beside them,” says Pavel Gonda, IT Manager of Arrow International. Arrow’s AV consultant adds: “We actually tested numerous screens. Not only does Supernova provide a superb display despite being surrounded by various light sources – it was the only screen on the market that could do the job,” says Vit Kopecky, AV Media.
Supernova One features an optical lens system that focuses and concentrates the projected light before reflecting it back towards viewers. A patented contrast enhancement filter also absorbs diffused light from windows and room lighting. This unique combination of new technologies actively enhances both image contrast and brightness – resulting in up to 10 times higher contrast and 2 times brighter images than traditional front screens. Higher contrast and greater brightness translates into more vivid colours and more detailed images, even in broad daylight.
