China: Sight is the most powerful of our five senses. To boost the visual experience of their latest products, Sony has opened a spectacular show room at the heart of Shanghai.
SONY’s vision was to create a space where visitors could interact and engage deeply with the latest SONY products. To provide maximum visual stimulation with large and crisp high-resolution images, SONY turned to technology from the world’s leading specialist in optical rear projection, dnp denmark.
– Large high-quality images add extra value to any audiovisual application – from the largest control and conference rooms to video conferencing facilities and home entertainment solutions. And we believe that dnp optical screens provide the best solutions when there is a need for super large images, true colour reproduction, enhanced brightness and contrast, says mr. Steve Qiu of SONY Gallery.
The Shanghai SONY Gallery, which is located at the commercial high street of Xuhui Distric, Huaihai Zhong Road, features an impressive range of audiovisual display systems.
One of the major display zones is a “Visual Tunnel” comprising 20 video cubes with 43" dnp New Wide Angle Screens, which are recognized for their wide viewing angles and excellent brightness and reso-lution. The screens form large display walls on each side of the tunnel. A smaller 2x2 screen display at the end of the tunnel completes the visual effect. To demonstrate the powers and synergies of mo-dern multimedia, SONY has also installed a 60" dnp New Wide Angle Screen in the Gallery’s Car Audio Room. And a 100" New Wide Angle Screen adds a new dimension to home entertainment in the SONY Playstation Room.
