Norway: The Vestfold Central Hospital in Toensberg, 70 km South of Oslo, has installed a large rear projection system for display of digital X-rays.
The new system substitutes the traditional film-based X-rays, which are normally displayed on a light-box. This saves a lot of space and time. And thanks to the digital format, the X-rays are now available anywhere in the hospital.
The digital X-ray display system consists of three 67" screens. The two screens on the right show the X-ray images - the screen to the left displays the patient's information file.
